outside kathmandu airport...we arrived at 12.35pm nepal time on 20 august 2005...n the cyclists came to receive us...so good to see sean after 1 yr... sean's papa, mama, me n sean...hehee.....

at boudhanath...i was here 6 yrs ago....n yesterdae i went again...for the 4th time....the 4th time i din pay cos went by backside way....haaa..... some fotos during the first few days when i arrived in nepal...was staying in Patan area....when we first came.....in a nice big house rented by a malaysian frenz who is working in nepal....4 storeys.....very un-nepali....sean n sk got to noe this malaysian frenz when they were at the malaysian embassy n we got a good comfy place to stay....we cooked our meals at home n gathered at the dining table for dinner every nite....see foto as above......went to Lukla (2840m) by flight for 3 nites....no trekking though...weather was not good then..clarrie, sk's mama n sean's parents had left for singapore on 31 aug....sean n sk had left to embark on thir cycling journey back home on 6 sept...then i moved to Kalanki for the language n cultural programme...learnt some nepali..but ali ali onli...little bit..hahaha....haf gone to Nagarkot...but could not catch the sunrise as the sky was cloudy...was staying in a typical nepali village for 2 nites...to experience the nepali life...nepali life is reallie hard..they haf to work for every grain of rice they put on their table...but yet they r happie....amazing.....went to the terai region...chitwan national park too...the elephant ride..2 hrs was tortorous for me n the poor elephant...but the elephant bath was fun...finallie came back to kathmandu...the moving ard was making me a bit tired...i haf moved to stay in a rental room in Chabahil, 5 mins walk from the orphanage...staying alone now but is safe over here...haf met frenz here....my neighbour is a teacher n yesterdae n todae he had brought me to his schools to "teach".....the college n undergrad students haf so many questions for me...both serious n silly ones....some as if would i get married here in nepal of i found a man to marry here in nepal.....hahhaa.....it was great fun....however sometimes the sight the orphanage can be depressing..the activities i engaged during my free time had kept me going.....i am onli spending 1 month at the orphanage...after dat i haf to move on to tibet n china....so doing as much as i can while i m here....initiallie i was feeling a bit overwhelmed n helpless by the situation before me...but after talking to the children there....i m more aware n haf better idea of wat i can do for them....there r jus so much to do....as they lack so much....
