flea market @ tanglin mall...lelong lelong...

had a flea market stall at tanglin mall w ailing and huiqing on 18 mar 2006....i was lucky to get a stall the first time i tried balloting....in fact i was allocated 2 stalls on 2 different dates....but cancelled one....it was great fun!!!!.....managed to clear more old clothes as compared to my last flea market at clarke quay....but haf to sell at dirt cheap prices....50 cents to $2 each...so next time when buying clothes must tink many many times....if not the clothes would end up at the flea market stall...sold away much of my soft toys too....all my pooh bears were gone...6 for $2.50...sold 2 pieces of bhutani trousers from nepal that day too!!!the feeling that someone actuallie wanna buy my old stuff was simply shiok....so when someone was holding on my stuff....i would try to sell it away.....regardless of the price.....aim is not to make $$$ but to clear stock!!!.....

thanks to xinhui n her sis for coming...next time u must come n lelong w us...kanglin and audrey for visiting n buying 2 necklaces imported from philipines...clarrie and sk for coming and clarrie bought a necklace from philippines and ailing's hello kitty...seng and cheryl for coming and chatting....zhiwei for buying a pair of bhutani....shunhua...trisha for popping by....and lastly thanks to sean for helping me...carrying all my stuff to tanglin mall and back and running around buying food for us too!!!!......next flea market would not leave u out....heheheheee........awaiting the zouk flea market.....

jus before boarding our flight to nepal...a group foto at the airport....thanks to subra and mad for driving me to the airport at lightning speed....and they had to rush off for the flag day after that...still remember mad bought a packet of kopi to keep awake....it was on an early sat morning.....that morning was a bit overwhelming for me....i started to cry once i was in the car to the airport....cried all the way from my home to the airport....i remember i kept saying "i am very tired".....jus few days back...i was still clearing my work....and onli finished packing my bag an hour ago....felt that i was going away in too much of a rush...felt that i m not ready to leave.....but i would never be ready to leave until i m realliy leaving!!!.....and of cos i could not bear to leave my frenz...wonderful colleagues....family....at that moment....

touched down nepal....after almost 6hrs.....with 1hr transit at bangkok....and i finallie got to see sean...after more than a year apart!!!...it was a happy reunion.....i haf stopped crying..... 

catching up with frenz before i left...

to my frenz....going away for 5 months seems a long time...which in actual fact...it was very short time...to me at least....cos i felt i m back home in no time!!!.....did some very last min catching with my frenz jus before i left....was reallie busy then....but reallie enjoyed the time!!!!my frenz....thanks for the time ya!!! shall we catch up again???

packing was indeed a nightmare....onli started real and serious packing 8 hours before my flight...luckily liping was with me....if not i would haf broke down and stare at the stuff spread all over my room.....packed 2 boxes of donations-in-kind to bring to nepal for the orphanage....would like to thank my frenz whom had contributed whole heartedly....

been a while since i last blogged....tink my last entry was done in saigon...at a internet cafe....that was the 2nd last day of my travel...and how fast...time reallie flies!!!......i m back home for more than 3 months already....still miss those days though....lemme upload some pictures....the pictures are backdated to august 2005....pardon me for bringing my blog back to the past.....would try to keep my blog as up to date as possible from now on!!!....heheheh....stay with me......
