todae is bright n sunny..i must say todae's weather was the best since i arrived here..n i took the chance to wash all my dirty clothes possible...

we took a domestic flight to Lukla on 26 august 2005..weather was not so good on the way to Lukla...can't see much of the mountains..except for clouds..supposed to spend 2 nights at Lukla..n return yesterdae but the weather was not good n there were no flights yesterdae so spent 3 nights in Lukla Kumbu Resort..i must say i prefer to be in the mountains than in the city..would be missing the tea lodges in Lukla..n the pple..the dal bhat..the hot tea..n the biscuits..which i dun usually eat in Singapore though it is readily available is so tasty in the mountains..i suddenly love to eat marie biscuits..haaahaaa...the return flight from Lukla to Kathmandu was magnificent..the weather was good todae..n we could see the snow capped mountains onboard the flight..

would be starting my volunteer work soon..in early september...which oso means i would be alone liao..me, dunlin n my backpack...

i haf reached nepal on 20 aug 2005 12.35 pm nepal time...i finallie can breathe...currently staying in patan area..which offers a good view of the kathmandu valley...the weather not so good...quite wet....rain everyday almost..especially when we r gg out..hiak..i forgot to bring my umbrella ahh...haaahaaa...not so aunty ya...fridae morning would be taking a domestic flight to lukla...very near to namche bazaar...n would be staying 2 nites there....i miss the mountains wor...

kallang + marina lunch + millenia kopi session w dragonboat frenz

was supposed to join them for rowing on sun morning but i pressed off my hp alarm without pressing snooze n overslept..could not wake up in time for the experiential w red bull...however thanks to su chin's sms..which brought me down to kallang to meet up w my dragonboat mates..if not dun tink i haf the will power to drag myself down to kallang cos slept at 3am the nite be4...su chin said over sms :"i hoped u can come down n join us for lunch todae as a lot of them wanna meet up w u and todae would be the best time be4 u go.." indeed i was touched cos haf not been spending much time w my dragonboat mates after the july race..miss them ya..miss rowing too..quickly sprang out of bed so dat i can read my morning papers..drink my morning green tea n do some work be4 i go kallang n meet them..it was a great sundae spent!!!..in fact i reallie miss those times v much..time spent at kallang..even in the sdba toilet..lunch + kopi sessions after dragonboat training...i miss such sundays...thank you mates...

gathering with oac frenz (maid ling, yin yin, cynthia, wild boar, wenhui, HQ, mujiri) at NYDC heeren..on 13 aug 2005..lucky henry was the onli guy who turned up..n he was v lucky to be seen in the company of so many gals..somemore entitled to hear our gals' talk uncensored!!!..he even more aunty than us..cynthia can step down as the auntiest liao..henry can take over the crown..haahaaa..i would miss those gossip n supper sessions w u all..n those jogging sessions with wild boar n cynthia..wait for me hor next time when i m back on YCK stadium track again..hope can still jog..keep me in the loop when i m away okie...like who n who w who..who n who caught by who..*gasped*..blah blah..haaaa..n rest of the oacians who din manage to turn up..we would catch up real soon..meanwhile take good care everyone!!!

phew...finallie todae is coming to an end....but more to come tmlo....reallie stressed since morning....panic all the way during the train ride to office...cos tinking of all the stuff i haf to attend to todae gave me cold sweat....haf to keep reminding myself to breathe.....reached office at 9.45am...i start work at 9.30a.m. btw.....the nite be4...i rem i must make copies of the case notes for handover in school on fridae morning....n i oso on course at NCSS from 1 to 6pm...was supposed to come out w a case presentation on family violence during the course....once i reached office....i started to zap the case notes cos dat the onli time i can zap....i dun haf photocopy machine at home!!!....as i zapped i become highly irritable....n the stupid phone calls keep coming in.....for those who had called n looked for me this morning.....they r so unlucky....but after dat i felt quite bad....cos they caught me at wrong time...i sounded irritated..i almost got panic attack at every phone call.....aiyooo...finallie finished the zapping job n entertaining phone calls and i can start to do my case presentation write-up for the course.....but shit....only left w 1 hr including lunch.....gotta leave office by 12.30pm to get to ghim moh.....quickly drew the genogram n at same time told myself to clam down...luckily i know the case inside out n had done my case recordings properly...so the write up was easy....was done by 12.15pm.....n i asked my colleague..ailing to buy me waffle for lunch..thanks ailing i would love a ramly burger though but the pasar malam ramly stall never open todae...okie...finallie can leave office to attend the practicum for family violence course liao...packed all my pink files back home...cos tonite haf to rush handover summary of 13 cases for the sch...meeting on fri morning...brought 2 bags of files out of office to ghim moh...lagi aunty again.reached bouna vista mrt at 1pm...course starting at 1pm but i decided i shd gif myself a break n take my time to walk to NCSS...n it began to pour heavily...n the stupid covered linkway got loopholes...there r 2 portions of the linkway which r not sheltered...i got no umbrella as always..v not-aunty when it comes to bringing umbrella...n the rain was heavy...would get drenched even if i run across....so i waited at the end of the sheltered linkway...many many office pple..bet they all from NCSS came by with big big umbrellas..all gg coffeeshop for lunch..somemore each of them have one big umbrella...no one offered to shelter me across...i waited..n waited...then a kind uncle..walked towards my direction...act he wanna go to the coffeeshop i guessed..he almost walked passed me but he unexpectedly stopped by to ask if i needed to get over to the other side...from where he came from..i told ya...n he offered to shelter me in his pink flowery small umbrella..i didn't reject..haaaa...n let him shelter me across...he asked me..no umbrella ah...heavy rain...i told ya lohh....n i told i contemplating to run across liao...but he told...no...no..dun run..dun run..then i told can liao...i can walk on my own..he made sure i reached void deck be4 he left...i was so touched!!!!...be4 dat i was cursing n swearing abt the stupid rain which came at the wrong time...but see wat the rain brought..it brought along a kind soul to make my dae...i reallie stopped for a while to tink...if everyone is not so caught up with their life n pause to tink for the pple ard u...wun the world be a better place to live in??? i must slow down n savour life too...would try to gif up more seats in mrt to make others' dae too...however i cannot shelter pple in rain cos i dun bring umbrella one...the old uncle did make my day!!!wonderful!!!...thanks thanks ya!!!!

was supposed to meet up with shuping, n i jio-ed ah fang along the day be4, however shuping could not make it..in the end had dinner n dessert w ah fang at j8..bumped into yujin at j8 foodcourt, together w his pri skool frenz..tink the next time i would see yujin would likely be jan 2007?by then he would be a fresh masters grad from UK..hope he would be less crappy then..heeheee..ah fang returned me my obiang orange slippers which she borrowed when she slept over at my place after yanfen's wedding..actuallie ah fang could haf the slippers for herself..i would love to gif the slippers to her cos she loves orange..however obviously the slippers r too obiang to be seen walking in even to the wet market..haaa..thot i can finallie get rid of the slippers but still it came back to me..arrgghhh..it was a good chat at cafe cartel..good ambience n comfy corner we were at..catching up w life, work, family, frenz etc etc..though we seldom meet, but i m v glad we can still talk like old frenz whenever we meet..n wanna thank ah fang for teaching me how to play ultimate frisbee on paper..haaa..hope the sport can become popular in nepal..with modified rules by me..i would set my own rules if i forget the rules..most likely i would..haahaaa..the orange font is specially chosen for u..ya fav colour..heeheee...

finallie ass of our times met up!!!..we had dinner at raffles city foodcourt..after dat we went to jessica's art studio at grange road..heehee..jessica was so dainty carrying her new handbag..mad was suspecting dat she went to match make at starbucks coffee prior meeting us..heheee..n we can never stop bitching when we gather..the red bean bag in jessica's studio is forever so comfy too..hahaa..ass of our times..i miss those times..

5.05 p.m. reached kimage school of hairdressing..$8.40 for a hair cut..ehh..do u haf senior stylist?..oh..senior stylist u haf to go to 2nd level..oh okie okie..not dat i dun trust the student hair stylists..but dun tink they can handle my lion head..hahaaa..went kimage @ 2nd level..heehee..for the first time in my many visits to the hair salon, this hairdresser never ask me to rebond my hair..haahaaa..i asked her to do something abt my hair but the style shd not need any maintenance..she asked if i dare to cut my hair reallie short..i was wavering then she showed me some fotos from the magazines..n i told okie lahh..watever style u deemed suits me lahhh..n she daring enuff to cut my hair short..the last time i had reallie short hair was when i was in JC1..still rem we (e oac gals, at least 4 of us) went to our then fav hair salon, the award winning golden scissors in serangoon central..wonder if it is still there..haaa..n we cut our hair reallie short like ah boy..for easier maintenance during the training camp..however it was quite a disaster..cos we ended up with the same hairstyle n all looked super took..hahaa..i enjoyed the hair cut at kimage..partly oso becos i made good use of my $15 voucher free from the goodie bag from food and heritage challenge..aunty me at work again..haaa..i always find gg for a hair cut v therapeutic..indeed..haaa..especially the washing hair part..hope she can take forever to wash..haaaa..but it was a heart pumping experience seeing her cut away my mane..haaa..n after dat she taught me how to style to get those out-of-bed look..6.30 p.m..hair cut done..disastrous or not..u all see n tell me..haaa..i need to get wax..

card making lesson 1.1

never knew dat making a card can be so tiring n now i no time to go swimming liao..but the sky oso not sunny enuff..so may be not worth my time to go for a swim todae too..haaa..next time then..i wanna make a "thank you" card.. found a book "creative greeting cards" from the library..n wanna replicate one of the cards..

this the time consuming part..spent 1 hr cutting the letters from the foam..after dat i m so tired..too much concentration..enuff for the day..to be continued next time..tired man..
